Fill in the blanks with an appropriate passive verb form.

1. They appointed him yesterday. / He …………………………….. yesterday.

In the simple past tense, we make passive verb forms by putting was/were before the past participle form of the verb.

In the present continuous tense, the passive verb form is made by putting is/are/am + being before the present continuous tense form of the verb.

In the past continuous tense, the passive verb form is made by putting was/were + being before the past participle form of the verb.

We use a structure with let to change imperatives into passive voice.

In the future perfect tense, the passive form is made by putting will have + been before the past participle form of the verb.
