Another example of homphones are the words review and revue, which sound alike but differ in spelling, meaning, and use. This causes confusion among writers when they try to use these terms in their sentences. This will enable you to differentiate between review and revue so you may be able to use them properly in your writing.

The word review can be used as a a noun referring to “a formal assessment or examination of something with the possibility or intention of instituting change if necessary.”
